A local author will discuss her fathers experiences as a POW during WWII.
Author Karen Patterson will discuss her book Allies Forever: The Life and Times of an American Prisoner of War Tuesday, November 10th at the OU-C Stevenson Center Quinn Library between 4-6pm.
Patterson says the event is open to the public, where they are encouraging military veterans and their families to attend.
Patterson's memoir is a personal account of her own family and how World War 2 impacted her family when her father was shot down over Germany, then survived as a POW.
