A Christmas Village is on display in the building between Aaron's and Boost Mobile in Central Center. Cancer survivor Marilyn Netter put up the display for the community, and it'll be open to the public now through December 21st, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Friends of Lucy Hayes Heritage Center will be featuring a "La Comedia Holiday Celebration" on Saturday, December 14. Those in attendance will travel on Blackhawk Charters with water and snacks provided. Transportation will leave the K-Mart parking lot at 9am. Price is $75 and is all inclusive. The Chillicothe Moose, Midwest Motoplex, and several friends are holding a craft/vender bazaar at Acord's Pizza, at 2254 Blain Highway, from 1-5pm on December 14. Also on that day, the Chillicothe Moose Riders, who are selling raffle tickets for a 2014 Youth 50 ATV, will draw a winner. CashMax Auto Title Loans and Cash Advances will be joining forces with The Seeds of Hope shelter in Chillicothe to help the homeless by collecting food and toiletry items through December 14th. There are currently 8 women and a one year old who need help. Anyone making a donation will be entered in the drawings for Walmart gift cards. The Mosaic Derivative is sponsoring ClausFest December 14th at the First Capital Music Hall, with proceeds going to the Pump House Center of the Arts.
