Sammy Kershaw, Joe Diffie and Aaron Tippin release their collaborative new album All In The Same Boat today (Tuesday).
The 12-track collection leads with the title track single, which Jamey Johnson co-wrote with hit-makers Don Poythress (Easton Corbin’s “A Little More Country Than That”) and Wynn Varble (Brad Paisley’s “Waitin’ On A Woman”). The album also mixes new music with fresh spins on popular hits, including Aaron’s “Kiss This” and Sammy’s “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful.”
Sammy notes, “The idea for this album came about after the success of our Roots ‘N Boots tour. Joe, Aaron and I go out together on the road and play and do our hits and the fans go nuts. So, we thought, ‘Why not just make this tour an album?’”
Joe adds, “I decided to go with two brand new songs and one old Neil Young song, ‘Heart of Gold,’ for my tunes on the album. I think fans will really enjoy the whole thing. We had as much fun making the album as we do on the road!”
