In honor of Banned Books Week, the Northside Branch of the Chillicothe-Ross County Public Library will be hosting banned movie nights on each Saturday throughout the month of October.
This week, the Northside Branch will offer a free showing of The Hunger Games, which has been challenged by various groups for adult themes, and sexual content.
The free showing of The Hunger Games will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Northside Branch Meeting Room.
The next movies to shown will be Dr. Seuss' The Lorax on Saturday, October 20th and The Bridge to Terabithia on Saturday, October 27th. Showtimes will be at 2:30 p.m.
Registration is not required and viewers of all ages are welcome. Viewers are also welcome to bring their own popcorn, snacks and drinks if desired.
