The Ross County Grand Jury returned 24 indictments on Friday.

One of these indicted was William S. Seymour, on two Second Degree Counts of Felonious Assault and a Third Degree Count of Tampering with Evidence.

The charges stem from an incident on September 12th when Chillicothe Police were called to the Am-vets parking lot, where witnesses said William S. Seymour was arguing with a male and female in the Cheap Tobacco Store. The two victims then left the store walking toward the Am-vets, Seymour got into in his pick up truck and speed toward them at a high rate of speed. The male pushed the female out of the way and was stuck by Seymour's truck, he sustained severe head trauma and was life flighted to Grant Hospital.

Seymour then left the scene and was found three days later after he tried to disguise his white pick up truck by panting it camouflage.
