The treasurer of Chillicothe City Schools says the board of education is looking at next May to go to voters for a possible tax levy. Kellie Lester says the district has seen big cuts in the last few years and has a goal to raise $3.7 million through some type of tax levy to maintain existing curriculum.
A levy committee has been formed to look at various levy options the board could consider. Lester says if you are interested in volunteering for the levy committee, call Chillicothe City Schools.
