In the competition by the Regional Business Professionals of America Thursday, Marissa J. Nichols of Unioto, and Brandon Burgett of Logan Elm, earned first place honors in the Video Production Team category.

Their six-minute video on the dangers of abusing prescription drugs will advance to the state Business Professionals of America competition in Columbus in March.   

Entitled "John Crow," it features scenes filmed in Yoctangee Park and Bridge Street, as well as acting, writing...and a special effect...by the team of two. 

Both students are in the Media Design Technologies program of the Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center, which is taught by Holly Wagoner.
