The Great Midwest Battle of the Bands is coming to Ohio University-Chillicothe's Shoemaker Center on Saturday, April 20. Organizer Paul Pollard said they'll pick 12 bands from across the midwest: "Last year, we had bands from Nebraska, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, and, of course, Ohio, and the band that won was from Chillicothe."

All genres are encouraged to participate.

The winning band will be given a variety of cash and prizes.
