Piketon two-sport star Zach Farmer will play college baseball for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Farmer signed his national letter of intent with the Buckeyes during a ceremony Thursday at Piketon High School.
Farmer is a three-time All Ohioan, as well as a High School Baseball All American.
He's currently preparing for the upcoming Redstreaks Basketball season, before starting his final year as a high school baseball player this coming spring.
Farmer is best known throughout southern Ohio as a left-handed pitcher with a fastball that clocks up to 90 miles per hour, but also shows the ability to play as a first baseman and outfielder.
He is also a .300+ hitter at the plate.
