Jake Kretzer has won the StatSheet MAC Freshman of the Week

Kretzer saw 19 minutes of playing time as a starter for Akron. In a 91-63 waxing of Coppin State, Kretzer topped the Zips in scoring and rebounding with 14 and 12 respectively.

This is a new honor for Jake Kretzer as it is the first time he has won StatSheet MAC Freshman of the Week. The runner-up is Nathan Boothe from Toledo. Geovonie McKnight from Miami (OH) takes honorable mention.
