The (21-2) Athens Lady Bulldogs slammed the door shut on Unioto's hopes for a Division 2 District Championship Game berth Saturday, falling 58-31 at Southeastern High School.

Athens' 5'7 sophomore guard Dominique Doseck's 22 points and 5 rebounds propelled the Lady Bulldogs to the win on 22/52 shooting for 42%. That also included 6/14 from the arc. Athens 6'1 senior post-player Emma Stanley swatted 5 shots and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win, as she was one of two 6'0 footers in the Athens line-up. 

On the other hand, (15-9) Unioto could only muster 11/40 from the field for 28%. That included 2/10 from the arc.

Unioto was hurt by 22 turnovers. Unioto was led by Taylor Overly with 9 points.

Athens plays Jackson for the district championship Tuesday, February 26th at 8:15pm at the OU-Convo, after Jackson topped Washington CH 56-34.
