The last two SVC basketball teams remaining in post-season action play for district championship Friday at the OU-Convo. The triple-header at the Ohio University Convocation Center features four top 12 state ranked teams out of the six competing.

The #9 ranked Piketon Redstreaks face Crooksville at 7:45pm, followed by the Zane Trace Pioneers against the #3 ranked Ironton Tigers at 9:30pm. The Redstreaks, regular season champs of the SVC, face a Ceramics club that has struggled at or below the .500 mark most of the season.

The Pioneers, however, are facing a much stiffer challenge in Ironton. The Tigers feature a big front-line and the school's all-time leading scorer in senior guard Zac Carter.

For basketball fans wanting even more than the two games featuring SVC teams, the night actually begins at 6pm with #12 state ranked Eastern Brown playing #10 ranked Oak Hill.
