Several of Chillicothe Academy of Mixed Martial Arts students competed in a submission grappling tournament held at Davis Youth Sports in Lancaster, Ohio, on February 24. Under the guidance of head coach and professional MMA fighter Jeremy Kitts, CAMMA brought home several awards.

The CAMMA students who won awards were 12-year-old Dylan Detty in the 0-80 pound weight class, 13-year-old Toby Bouska, Jr., in the 80+ pound weight class, 25-year-old Drew Salyer won two divisions, the 181-225 pound and the 225+ pound weight classes, and 8-year-old Josh Lee won the fighter of the tournament award.

CAMMA athletes will be competing again on March 24th in Lancaster at Davis Youth Sports.
