2012 project to begin in Jackson on Monday.
As the Ohio Department of Transportation’s 2012 construction season gets under way Monday, a pair of resurfacing projects are set to begin next week in Jackson County, with contractors paving nearly 40 miles on two separate routes.
Approximately seven miles of U.S. 35 between Dixon Run Road and the Jackson-Gallia County line will be involved, along with paving a 6-mile section of S.R. 93, from the Jackson-Lawrence County line to just north of Harmon Lane near Oak Hill.
Throughout construction on U.S. 35, traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in each direction. And along with flaggers, traffic on S.R. 93 will be maintained in one lane with temporary signals at the U.S. Rail crossing at Oak Hill.
