The grant helps purchase mobile tech devices for students.

The Ross-Pike Educational Service District is the recipient of a $10,000 Mobile Assistive Technologies grant awarded by eTech Ohio.

Funding was awarded to 20 schools in Ohio. The grant will pay for mobile assistive technologies (tablets, e-readers, smart phones, braille notes, etc) in each of the Educational Service Center’s Cooperative classes throughout Ross and Pike County Schools.

The grant was developed to expand and enhance learning opportunities for special needs learners through the use of mobile assistive technology.
