Adena Soil Judging Team 2nd Nationally

The honor came at the national FFA contest in Oklahoma City, and ZT FFA scored well at state contests

The Adena High School FFA Soil Judging team has finished runner-up at the National Home Site Contest in Oklahoma City. Team member Ryan Skinner finished in a first place tie in the individual competition, Isaac Ost was 10th and Katie Glandon was 12th. The other team member is Taylor McQuiniff. Their instructor is Jim Skinner.


Another local FFA school fared well in state contests as several members of the Zane Trace FFA chapter received recognition for their work in agriscience during the first day of the 84th Ohio FFA Convention. In the Agriscience Fair first place finishes went to Sarah Cox, Nathaniel Freeman and the team of Audrey Hoey and David Glass. Second place finishers included Eva Bugg and the team of Hunter Hardman, Camden Everidge. Third place went to the teams of Jessie Proehl and Stephanie Glass and Maleah Calhoun and Lauren Smith.
