Approximately 3,000 bicyclists will be riding through the area Mother's Day weekend.
The annual Tour of the Scioto River Valley runs through the Chillicothe area this weekend. It'll start in Columbus on Saturday and head toward Portsmouth, with the return trip on Sunday.
Kyrsten Walton, of the Ross/Chillicothe Convention and Visitor's Bureau, says TOSRV is good for exposing these cyclists to our community and they seem to return.
A majority of the route taken by around 3,000 cyclists will be on State Route 104, though, its possible motorists will see them on SR 772, SR 335, Cooks Hill Road, Three Locks Road, and Higby Road.
