One Injured in SR 73 Crash

Rhonda Blake was flown to a West Virginia hospital, Wednesday.

A Portsmouth woman was injured in a crash on State Route 73, Wednesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports 52-year-old Byron Stamper, of Piketon, was driving southbound on SR 73 when 45-year-old Rhonda Blake failed to yield the right of way from a private drive and was struck by Stamper's vehicle.

She was flown by Air Evac to a West Virginia hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Stamper was not injured.
