Two medical helicopters were called in.

Traffic was backed-up approximately one mile following an injury accident on U.S. Route 50 at Blain Highway at about 6:15pm.

According to the Ross County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Tony R. Bridenbaugh was traveling westbound US 50 was making a left hand turn when it collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 27-year-old Andrea Downs of Western Avenue, Chillicothe.

The crash also involved a parked car located on the corner of Blain Highway and US 50.

Downs and her 3-year-old child Kelton were injured and flown to Columbus area Hospitals. Another passenger, 28-year-old April Joberthe was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center.
