Crimestoppers "Crimes of the Week"

Southern Ohio Crimestoppers are seeking information this week on two recent incidents

Two incidents are being highlighted in the Crime of the Week.

The Chillicothe Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred in the 100 block of North High Street. The resident indicates that she was home on June 17th. She stated that sometime during the day she noticed that a bed she had just made was in disarray and a jewelry box was missing from her bedroom. The resident stated that she did not see anyone in the house, but found damage to a window on the back side of the home where entry was made. A witness was contacted who stated that they observed the subject leaving the residence carrying a large wooden jewelry box with a cloth, flowered top, which is the one reported stolen. The witness described the suspect as a dark complexioned, white, male, approximately 5’9” tall, thin build with facial hair. Officer’s were unable to locate the suspect in the area.

The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a breaking and entering into a concession stand in Clarksburg. This concession stand is used to raise money for the little league baseball and several items were removed including the cash register and several items of food and drink. This happened sometime overnight between June 18th and June 19th. There are no suspect descriptions available at this time.
