Pike County Crash Yields Injuries

The two-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 335, Wednesday.

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pike County, Wednesday. The Highway Patrol reports 20-year-old Kaci Black, of Waverly, was northbound on State Route 335 at 9:20pm when she went left of center and struck a southbound vehicle driven by 67-year-old Charles Adkins, of Chillicothe. Black then drove off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole and embankment, which caused her vehicle to overturn.

Black and her passenger, Thomas Noble, were taken to OSU Medical Center by Med-Flight.

Adkins was not injured.
