Pike County Judge Retires

Judge Cassandra Bolt-Meredith has notified the Ohio Supreme Court of her plans.

A Pike County judge is set to retire at the end of this month. Pike County Court Judge Cassandra S. Bolt-Meredith has served on the bench in Pike County for 17 years, first as a common pleas judge and then on the county court beginning in 2005. Her term was set to expire December 31.

According to the Ohio Constitution, the governor has the authority to fill all judicial vacancies.
