The Jr. Fair Board is putting recycling bins throughout the fairgrounds.
The Ross County Fair is going green this year; recycling bins will be placed all across the fairgrounds as part of a Green Week Recycling Initiative by the Junior Fair Board.
"They're a really obvious gray with a bright green neon sign; you can't miss it," said Jr. Fair Board Member Lindsay Oates.
She said many of the board members expressed to their senior advisors how important they felt it was to step up recycling opportunities at the fair.
"If we don't care of our environment now, then our children have to deal with it and their children have to deal with it, so I'm hoping that the word keeps spreading and spreading," said Oates.
The fair kicks off August 5th.
