Four Chillicothe residents have been indicted on charges related to Franklin County's first human-trafficking case, County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien said Thursday.
The indictment alleges that the four lured a 24-year-old woman to Columbus from Chillicothe to party for the evening, but forced her to work as a prostitute at area hotels, O'Brien said.
The charges against Richard L. Evans, 55, Mara D. Morrison, 21, Roger K. Rider, 29, and Craig E. Tackett, 21, include trafficking in persons, kidnapping, and promoting prostitution.
Evans, Rider and Tackett also are charged with rape.
