Romney Rally on Radio

WKKJ & WBEX will broadcast the Tuesday speech in Chillicothe live.

If you can not attend Tuesday night's Chillicothe rally for Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, you can hear it on the radio. 94 Country WKKJ and 1490 WBEX will have live coverage of the speech with airtime sometime after 7pm.

The broadcast coverage continues local news coverage of presidential visits to Ohio's first capital, that dates back to a couple of visits to Chillicothe by President Bill Clinton.



Since then, the two radio stations have also provided broadcast coverage of President George W. Bush, candidates Barack Obama, John Edwards and Sarah Palin.

The two stations can also be heard worldwide on IHeart Radio.

From Chillicothe Police:  Restrictions on items that can be brought to event

Persons attending the Romney event are reminded that they can bring handheld cameras only (still and video), but NO case or bag.

No bags, chairs, signs, sticks, umbrellas bottles of any sort or weapons will be allowed into the controlled/fenced spectator area.

The following road restrictions will be enforced beginning at 7:00am Monday:
N. Paint st. Between Main and The alley next to the Law Complex Will be closed.

On Tuesday, At 7am:
Paint St will Be closed from Main to Second St.
E. Second St. Will be closed beginning at Mulberry St., to include the Majestic alley.
At 6PM:
Main St. Will be closed from Walnut St to Mulberry Sts. Please follow detour signs.
NO PARKING SIGNS will be placed on these streets. Please have vehicles removed by the posted times.

Alternative parking will be at Ohio University and the Ross County Service Center. City Transit will will begin shuttling at 5pm.
