Fatal Crash on SR 335, Pike County

Drugs and alcohol are believed to be factor

One man is dead after a crash on SR 335, in, Pike County on Saturday night.

Michelle Caudill, age 34, of Laurelville, was traveling southbound on SR 335 in a 2000 Nissan Maxima. Ms. Caudill lost control of the vehicle, traveled off of the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.

Three passengers were in the vehicle, Brandon Caudill, age 26, of Laurelville, Sean Wycuff, age 31, of London and Christopher Murphy ,age 26, of Lancaster, who was pronounced dead at the scene by Jackson Township EMS.

Ms. Caudill and Mr. Wycuff were flown by Air Evac to Grant Medical Center. Mr. Caudill was transported to Pike Community Hospital where he was treated and released. Drugs and alcohol are believed to have contributed to the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by The Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
