A Ross County Grand Jury returned 18 indictments, Friday.
A Ross County Grand Jury issued indictments against three Chillicothe men who have been linked to a string of burglaries that occurred on Chillicothe's west side throughout the month of July and into August.
18-year-old Jeremy D. Smith was indicted on a count of burglary, while 18-year-old Desean Fairrow and 21-year-old Jordan Stotridge were indicted for complicity to burglary. Each are third-degree felonies, which are punishable by 1-5 months in prison and a $10,000 fine.
In a related note, authorities say 36-year-old Joshua Honaker, of Chillicothe, was charged through Chillicothe Municipal Court on a felony count of receiving stolen property.

Police say there are charges expected against additional suspects regarding the crimes.
Other indictments include:
*45-year-old Ricky L. Manuel, of Chillicothe, for a fifth-degree felony of theft and two third-degree felonies of intimidation of a witness. The indictment alleges that Manuel, who was a contract employee at River's Edge Golf Course on Sunset Drive, stole a spool of copper wire from the property and sold it to a junk yard. According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, Manuel's 14- and 13-year-old children were in the vehicle at the time of the theft. The defendant is also accused of threatening his kids for telling authorities about the theft. [Penalty for the F5: 6-12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine. Penalty for the F3:1-5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine].
* 44-year-old Paul Francis, of Piketon, for fourth-degree receiving stolen property. According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, authorities were called to the scene of a Mt. Tabor Road crash on the night of June 28th. The indictment alleges Francis was the driver of the vehicle that had been reporter stolen about three hours prior. An off-duty Waverly police officer was on scene as the crash occurred in front of his residence. [Penalty: 6-18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines].
*44-year-old Bryan L. Bailey, of Laurelville, for fifth-degree breaking and entering, and 45-year-old Sherry L. Anderson, of Laurelville, for fifth-degree complicity to breaking and entering. According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, the victim saw two subjects flee from his Walnut Creek Road garage on July 28th; the victim was able to give the license plate number to authorities who were able to track down the vehicle (Anderson was the driver). In the floorboard, authorities say they found a car stereo, stereo DVD player, socket set, and an amp. [Penalty: 6-12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine].
* 46-year-old Clara M. Conrad, of Chillicothe, for fifth-degree aggravated possession of drugs. Conrad was accused of shoplifting from Wal-Mart on August 20th, and authorities say they found 6 pills and 2 halves of pills in her purse that tested positive as Oxycodone. [Penalty: 6-12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine].
* 21-year-old Marianela Guerrero, of Chillicothe, for fifth-degree forgery. Authorities say a two-vehicle crash occurred on US 23 on July 23rd, and Guerrero was one of the drivers. The indictment alleges Guerrero told troopers she had a driver's license but produced a fictitious identification card. According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, the patrol reported Guerrero to Immigration. [Penalty: 6-12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine].
During Friday's session of the Ross County Grand Jury, 18 indictments were returned (9 were open).
