State Patrol troopers handled injury crashes Wednesday night on Orr Road and Route 50 at Veterans Parkway

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating two injury crashes.

One occurred on Orr Road, in Ross County as
21-year-old Jenna Davis of Chillicothe was driving southbound on Orr Road at about 11pm last night as Dustin Wrightsel of Chillicothe was traveling northbound. Mr. Wrightsel traveled left of center causing the vehicles to collide head-on.

Davis was flown to Grant Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition.

Wrightsel was also transported to Grant Medical Center where he is listed in stable-but-serious condition.

Troopers say a
lcohol and or drugs of impairment are believed to be responsible for Wrightsel going left-of-center and causing the crash.

A separate injury crash on U.S. Route 50 & Veterans parkway resulted in four people being sent to area hospitals.

Troopers say 73-year-old Judith Herdendorf of South Salem was driving west on Route 50 when 31-year-old Miranda Caverly of Chillicothe heading eastbound on Route 50, turned left onto Veterans Parkway- failing to yield and hitting the Herdendorf vehicle.

Herdendorf was flown by Air Evac to OSU Medical Center, while her two passengers- age 14 and 11 were taken to Adena Medical Center.

Caverly was also taken to Adena.
