Representatives of non-profit agencies and churches will meet to brainstorm ways to tackle the Ross County hunger issue.
Bud Scharfetter, an advisory board member of the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, says the collaborative approach helps hit the issue more effectively.
In last three years, Ohio is gone from 12th to 6th on the national scale of hunger and one in four children in Ohio are going hungry.
The Hunger Summit will begin at 1:30pm, October 2nd, at the Chillicothe-Ross County Public Library Annex on 5th Street.
