Several area schools did well on district report cards

The Ohio Report Cards, which grades districts on attendance, test scores and graduation rates are showing several area schools with "excellent" or "excellent with distinction" rankings.

The Teays Valley School District in Pickaway County has the best showing, with seven such ratings for each of their grade levels or buildings.

Logan Elm Schools have five, Circleville City School four, and two each for Westfall, Adena, Chillicothe and Southeastern districts.

Huntington, Zane Trace, Piketon, Eastern Pike and Western each had one "excellent" per district.
