Waverly Village Council tackled a light agenda Tuesday.

Village Resident, Joe Hamel, addressed council with a proposal to ease traffic congestion at the intersection of State Route 104 and State Route 23.

Hamel suggested constructing a second left hand turning lane at the intersection.

According to Mayor Greg Kempton, all proposals regarding infrastructure must be handled by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Kempton said that he would look into Hamel's proposal to see if it would be worth pursuing.

Members were also presented with the first reading of the Proposed Wage Ordinance for Village Employees.

Council also voted in favor of creating a part-time position within the Parks Department.

Waverly Council will convene for its next meeting on Tuesday, December 4th.
