Chillicothe City Council will gather for the purpose of approving the 2013 budget.
Many hours of budget talks will lead to Chillicothe City Council's anticipated approval of their budget during a special meeting December 27th.
Mayor Jack Everson says the various employee unions for the city have invested some "skin in the game", with AFSCME members already agreeing to concessions earlier in the year.
He says police and fire unions have also worked with the administration in trying to come up with ways that would avoid layoffs among safety forces.
Council will be called into the special legislative session at 6:30pm on the 27th.
