Champ Henson and Brian Stewart are now on the job after November elections
With their first official meeting under their belt as Pickaway County Commissioner, we spoke with first-term commissioners Champ Henson and Brian Stewart.
Henson says he wants to keep the county's heritage alive for generations to come.
Stewart says he wants to dedicate his time helping revive the local economy so those out-of-work can find jobs.
The two new commissioners say they like the idea of taking their weekly meetings outside their office from time-to-time, which they will do starting later this year. Commissioner Henson says this will help some of the rural areas know they are being paid attention to.
Henson and Stewart were elected last fall, and join fellow Republican Jay Wippel, who is a veteran of the Pickaway County Commissioner's office.
