Circleville will look into rescuing the city pool...for one more season.
Circleville's pool was open last season, but the city did not budget for it this year, since it's nearing the end of its life. Council Member Mike Logan hopes to help get it open...one last time.
The city will provide the water, and the YMCA will manage it, but money is needed to cover electricity, insurance, and chemicals. Logan has been challenged to raise the $12,000 for that. $2,000 has been pledged so far.
This will all be discussed in the Long Range Strategic Planning Committee meeting, 7pm Wednesday the 13th.
An additional topic in the meeting will be a possible land acquisition adjacent to a city park.
