Dave Pinkerton is the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce's top entrepreneur.
After a brief review of the chamber's 125-year history - and a keynote address by State Senator Bob Peterson - the founder of Advanced Services Heating and Cooling was revealed as this year's top businessperson.
Of Dave Pinkerton's many sacrifices, one of the first was getting money for his first company vehicle. Another was to do an installation on his wedding day.
He said he had plenty of help over the last 14 years. Now he does major industrial installations using helicopters, while still providing home services.
Pinkerton's two daughters, dressed in matching black and white dresses, flanked him on the podium during his acceptance.
Each year's winner is selected mainly by past entrepreneurs of the year.
