The Chamber CEO chatted about building trends in Chillicothe and Ross County.
Construction and renovation projects continue from almost a complete halt over the last few years.
Marvin Jones of the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce says we are at about the same level of capital improvement as last year. According to him, 78 commercial permits totaling $8.1 million in renovations are scheduled for this year.
The upcoming construction for the "Flying J" truck stop on East Main Street will one of the larger jobs at $4 million, though it has been moved back to next month.
