The dispute occurred in the office of EEO Director
Chillicothe's police chief is under investigation for the second time this year, after a dispute between the chief and city EEO director, when she called 911-- saying she felt threatened by him.
The call was made Thursday morning from the office of Chillicothe's Equal Employment Opportunity Director Tamra Lowe.
Chillicothe's mayor says police responded, and both the chief and Lowe notified him of the incident. He's still investigating, but says he believes both sides over-reacted, and that the matter could have been handled without police.
Mayor Jack Everson says he will meet with both parties later Friday, along with the sheriff's office, prosecutor, and BCI before deciding how to proceed.
Chief Roger Moore declined comment on the matter to a Ohio News Network reporter and ONN was not able to reach Tamra Lowe for comment.
