March 1st is the deadline to register to be in 4H this year
Many people in the area are familiar with 4H, but for those who aren't familiar and are interested in joining a 4H group, now is the time to act.
According to OSU Extension Educator Sara Kleon, "This is the last chance for people to get involved with 4H for the year, especially since we're closely tied to the fair program. The enrollment deadline attaches you so you are in the system for project judging".
Aside from taking Livestock projects at the fair, there are many other projects that you can take. According to Sara Kleon there are over 120 projects to choose from, from robotics and electronics to woodworking and welding. You can even create your won 4H project.
The enrollment deadline is March 1st, 2012.
