A two vehicle crash occurred before noon Thursday- just south of Jackson.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle fatal crash in Jackson County.
At approximately 11:12am Thursday, the Jackson Post received a report of a two vehicle injury crash on US Route 35 at Dixon Run Road. The preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis was struck by a 1996 Ford Explorer as it crossed US 35.
The Mercury was driven by 77-year-old Roger W. Johnson of Wellston, Ohio who was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital and is being treated for his injuries. The Ford was driven by 26-year-old Jessica M. Hill of Vinton, Ohio who along with her four year old daughter were transported to Holzer Hospital where they were treated and released.
77-year-old Mary H. Johnson, a passenger in the Mercury, was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital where she died.
