The victim told authorities that her boyfriend punched and choked her, Thursday.
A Chillicothe man was arrested on multiple charges stemming from a domestic dispute. According to a report from the Ross County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to an Anderson Station Road home at 11:30pm, Thursday. The victim said she and her boyfriend, Carlos M. Beverly, had gotten into an argument that escalated. She said he threw her to the ground, threatened her, and punched and choked her.
Beverly said they had been arguing when the victim threw a bowl and shoe at him, so he "back handed" her in the neck. He denied all other allegations; however, he was arrested and taken to the Ross County Jail for domestic violence, assault, domestic menacing, and menacing.
