The expert says it's one reason gas prices are so high. there's plenty of oil, but not enough gasoline.

Gas prices are likely to be a big political issue during this presidential election. One oil expert says all the U.S. needs to do to bring down gas prices is make it easier to get oil to the refinery.

For example, refineries on the Gulf Coast take in heavy oil from Mexico and Venezuela at $110 dollars per barrel. Marin Katusa with Casey Research says they could be getting that oil from Canada. The problem is a lack of pipelines to move the oil from Canada to the gulf coast.
