Circleville Council arranged a refund to the hospital after they got tax exempt status.
Since it took the state five years to allow Berger Health System to partly claim property tax exemption, the city has a bit to return to Berger - $37,705 of real estate tax money.
Council member Dorcas Morrow, who sponsored most of the legislation in the session, said Berger has agreed to a five-year payment plan to make it hurt less.

Council also rolled out the sidewalk for several downtown events, with several annual resolutions allowing the use of downtown streets and sidewalks.
The expansion of the city schools will soon be within the city limits after the ordinance passed to annex the 106 acres.
Council also renewed the contract for the county dog warden at the same cost for last year, $25,000.
