A hot-shooting Eastern Brown Warriors team beat the Westfall 60-40 in the Mustangs first game under new head coach Matt Carson. Eastern Brown shot 24/44 for 55% from the field, compared to Westfall's 16/44 for 36%. The Warriors were also 6/11 from the three-point arc for 54%.

Eastern's Chase Lawson led all players with 17 points, while Nathan Scott added 13. Doug Hardin topped the Mustangs with 12 points as Alek Stonerock added 9.

The Mustangs also committed 16 turnovers.
