Two new coaches have been hired at Westfall HS to lead their varsity football and volleyball programs.

Brian Spicer, has been hired as the new head football coach for the Mustangs, replacing Keith Downing, who took over last fall to finish the season for Scott Keller, who resigned at mid-season. Spicer comes to Westfall after coaching at Hillsboro the last four years, where he had a combined (12-28) record.

The new volleyball coach is Westfall graduate Jessica Rodgers, who has been an assistant at Westfall and Zane Trace in recent years. Rodgers played in three state Final Fours for the Mustangs as a player between 2003-05. She replaces Lisa Lightle, who resigned after two seasons, where she led Westfall to a sectional title two years ago and a district championship last year.
